TERRAMADRE 2006 AND THE SALONE OF THE TASTE IN OCTOBER

Otilia has informed on his web page that it has been selected together with a group of 10 cooks and 100 producers, to represent the Argentina in the world call Terramadre 2006 and the Salone of the Taste in Torino (Italy) *, from next October 26.

It cannot conceal the pride that gives him this distinction, simultaneously that compromises it with his profession and with his Country, to continue with all my energy transmitting a healthy, handmade and delightful meal, which respects the cultural heritage and the natural products of our ground. His gratitude and recognition to Slowfood of Argentina and especially Mr.s. Hugo Cetrángolo and Santiago Abarca and to the whole advice Argentine assessor and from already to Slowfood of Italy for the distinction and invitation. *

The call Terramadre 2006 assembles 1500 communities of the food originated from 5 continents, 5000 producers, 1000 handmade cooks and 200 universities of the whole world, to exchange experiences and to specify proposals faced to a new idea of the agriculture and of the healthy food.

In parallel and in the same city of Torino the Salone of the Taste will take place 2006. which one is a commercial exhibition that has the peculiarity of assembling to the handmade productions of small scale and to which it is necessary to safeguard. It offers to the visitors another face of the planet of the feeding and teaches him to understand the characteristics and the origin of slightly well-known products of excellence and without industrial support.
